Intersections, 2025

This series of five mixed-media paintings combines multiple artistic traditions, incorporating abstraction, expressionism, collage, and figurative realism. Their work explores how contrasting visual languages can coexist within a single composition, creating tension and harmony between gesture, texture, and image. Influenced by elements of popular culture, television, film, and mid-century advertising, the series examines how collective imagery and media shape contemporary visual experiences. Each painting becomes a site where diverse histories of painting intersect and reinvent one another.

Broken Cinema Dreams, 2025

'Broken Cinema Dreams' explores the tension between cinematic memory and photography. Abstract compositions created with light and color merge with distorted frames from early films. The result is a fragmented space where visual memories dissolve and reassemble.

Painted Memories: A Dialogue with My Father's Lens, 2025

This photography series merges family film photographs from the 70s to 90s with abstract paintings by projecting one onto the other. The series explores memory, personal loss, and the shifting nature of archives, blurring boundaries between photography and painting. It reflects on how past and present can visually and emotionally overlap.

Abstract Scanography Works, 2025

Abstract Scanography Works replaces the camera with a digital scanner, shifting photography toward pure gesture and material. Light and movement become traces recorded in real time. Drawing from abstract photography and modern formalism, the series explores how an image can exist apart from representation. Each piece emerges through process, offering abstraction as an alternate way of seeing rather than an absence of meaning.

Charcoal Diaries, 2025

Charcoal Diaries grew from a deep interest in how charcoal shapes figurative work. Its immediacy and grain let me build portraits through touch rather than precision. The series brings together faces with different emotions and identities, each shaped by the same tactile approach. I follow what draws me most, the challenge of capturing a presence that feels alive on the page.
